Designer European Tapestries

Designer Wall Tapestries has added new Verdure tapestries to its Pansu Tapestry line. The new line consists of, Verdure Chantilly Tapestry, Verdure Hautil Tapestry, Verdure Meudon Tapestry, and Verdure Villeroi Tapestry respectively.

Verdure Chantilly

The Verdure type of tapestry was decorated with a design based on plant forms or European forests. It is not known exactly when the first verdure tapestries were made, but by the late 16th century tapestries with formal designs derived from forest scenes had become immensely popular. In the last half of the 17th century, landscapes were incorporated into their design.
